Today the Christian church celebrates Pentecost. The day of Pentecost took place almost 2000 years ago, 50 days after the resurrection  of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead.

The day of Pentecost ushered in for both God and mankind a new type of relationship. A relationship of sonship was now available. God the Father could now place His spirit in those that would believe on His solution for the redemption of mankind – the Lord Jesus Christ.

In many previous shows we have looked in great detail at the greatness of the accomplished the work of Jesus Christ. His complete sacrifice, all that he came to do for mankind….finds its fulfillment in the day of Pentecost. For it’s on the day of Pentecost that God’s spirit became freely available for all who believe. Today we look at Acts 2:1 – 4 which contains the record of the original outpouring of God’s gift to mankind, holy spirit.
